Michael Zislis, entrepreneur-restaurateur-hotelier, first
captured the essence of Southern California with his original ROCK’N
FISH restaurant in Manhattan Beach, followed by Shade
Hotel and most recently his Mucho
Ultima Mexicana, which opened last year. Zislis now plans to expand
his distinct signature style to a second ROCK'N FISH
location planned for downtown Los Angeles in January
2009.
The new ROCK'N FISH location, a 6,000 square foot space with the capacity to serve 200 guests, will be part of the dazzling new L.A. LIVE Complex created by architect Louis Skelton and designer Larry Drasin. ROCK'N FISH will share the L.A. LIVE Complex location with Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse, Katsuya, Yard House and Rosa Mexicano, all within easy walking distance from the Nokia Theatre, Staples Center, The Ritz Carlton and J.W. Marriot Resort.
